Watch your type of Friends!!!

24 Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
Proverbs 29:24 King James Version (KJV)

It is really important you know the people you call your friends, that none be of a character that you will be ashamed of later in life! For instance finding out that your friend is a thief is a terrible thing it can get you in trouble, if a situation turns up and  your friend is arrested, or caught up in something and it also involves you, for this is reputation ruining!

33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33 King James Version (KJV)

Ensure that GOD leads you on what type of friends you should keep, for HE knows the beginning from the end, there are some friendships that GOD will warn you about, and at the beginning you will see nothing wrong with being friends with that person! Be quick to put GOD’S WORDS to action and do away with them! If GOD says the person has to go, the person truly has to go!

20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Proverbs 13:20 King James Version (KJV)

Leave off contention!

14 The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.
Proverbs 17:14 King James Version (KJV)

In dealing with people there are times when you see some things that will rise up, and if you take it up it would lead to dispute, just let it go and let peace rain!

It is not every comment that someone makes that you reply or every pass someone makes at you, you try to handle. Sometimes just let people have their way for peace to rain, you may not feel happy at the end of the day when you take up such issues and the health of your relationship with certain people will be threatened. This at the end of the day leaves you full of regret, so calm down and let things be!

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
Proverbs 26:4 King James Version (KJV)

This doesn’t mean you can deal with issues if they are paramount and they need addressing, but some things are better left untouched, it doesn’t matter how you feel, be big enough to let them be!

Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
Proverbs 26:5 King James Version (KJV)

Don’t have a fool for a friend!

12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.
Proverbs 17:12 King James Version (KJV)

Obviously no one will like to have a fool for a friend, but there is no point you have people who don’t promote the will of GOD… Obeying HIS single commandment is a “no no” for them. For instance they go to church all the time, but they encourage you to sleep around, drink, stay out for late nights, talk down on people, encourage you to commit fraud and the list goes on. The person will not say there is no GOD but it does not reflect in the character, which is saying otherwise. If people believe there is GOD, they would act like they know HIM, if they don’t they are playing the fool!

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14:1 King James Version (KJV)

As a Christian you would not want to deny GOD with your words, but you can do it with your actions, when everything you do doesn’t align with the WORD of GOD. Be careful of friends, don’t let them push you to do wrong, for you will bear the burden of sins by yourself, when you are judged by JESUS.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew 12:37 King James Version (KJV)

Being used as A Friend.....

13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
Proverbs 17:13 King James Version (KJV)

People complain that sometimes they get the worst out of been good to people, the ones that hurt the most is friends that pay you back in ways you did not treat them.
My Pastor will always say, “They did it to JESUS, why don’t you expect people to do it to you (Matthew 27:11-13).” It feels bad to be used as a Christian, when they need help they will call you, but when you need them, they are nowhere to be found. JESUS in Matthew 5:39-48, commanded us to go the extra-mile for people, and at the end of the day you will may not get a return of your giving, from the person you helped….. But you know the GOD who sees in secret rewards openly, know that you are working for a greater purpose (Matthew 6:4).

39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:39-48

The Recipe to get closer to GOD is this...

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:8  King James Version ( KJV)

You can start with this.... And as you continue you will be able to increase the time you spend with GOD

1. Read your Bible [ King James Version] for 15 minutes
2. Worship for 10 minutes
3. Pray for 10 minutes

Do all 3 Day and Night.
The First 5 minutes of prayer speak in tongues inviting the HOLY SPIRIT

Use the rest to pray about the things in your life

And pick a day of the week when you fast and pray solely about the future, your career, your life and many more.... What you want to become...

Try this for a week I'm telling you your life won't remain the same

Don't just read the BIBLE any how have a BIBLE planner that will enable you to read it cover to cover it for at least a year [Click this link to view one].....

And you will see visions... You will know what GOD is saying concerning your life...

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Joel 2:28-29 King James Version (KJV)

You can go on with this only if you have a personal relationship with JESUS...

It's easy to start one if you don't have....Say these few words

"LORD JESUS I accept you into my life as my LORD and personal saviour... From now on I want you to take the lead... It's not about me anymore but about you... From now on I want you JESUS to be the only goal of my LIFE In JESUS name I have prayed"

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:10-11 King James Version (KJV)

Now you're Christian... You now have to fight for your relationship with JESUS day and night... Read the WORD... Tell HIM how you feel, what's bothering, when you do this you're praying.... And love to worship it's an amazing experience...

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Psalm 84:10 King James Version (KJV)

Know this before you turn to man for counsel remember the HOLY SPIRIT and ask HIM for help....

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 King James Version (KJV)

After doing all this you need to start attending a BIBLE believing church. Ask the HOLY SPIRIT, on which church you would love to attend, and HE will surely lead you.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

122 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Psalm 122:1 King James Version (KJV)
